Tamdeen Youth Foundation Is Granted Consultative Status of ECOSOC
Tamdeen Youth Foundation has been granted the consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). This status will enhance TYF's humanitarian and development role, and support the presence of Yemeni organizations in international forums.
Mr. Hussein Al Suhaily, Founder of Tamdeen Youth Foundation, explained that this consultative status will enable TYF to actively engage in the work of the ECOSOC and its subsidiary bodies, in the work of the United Nations Secretariat, as well as in the UN programs, funds and agencies in multiple ways.
"Granting the consultative status to Tamdeen Foundation came after it met all international conditions and standards for NGOs, and was recommended for approval by all members of the NGO Committee." he emphasized.
Tamdeen Youth Foundation contributes to achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals for 2030, and focuses its work on socioeconomic development, environmental conservation and the promotion of renewable and clean energy.
TYF is also keen to implement its projects in sustainable ways and provide innovative and effective solutions to social and environmental problems.
