Financial Grants to 70 Beneficiaries in Ash Shamayatain District, Taiz Governorate, to Establish Their Own Businesses
Today, Tamdeen Youth Foundation delivered financial grants to 70 beneficiaries from Ash Shamayatain District in Taiz Governorate. This comes as part of "Improving the Livelihoods and Resilience of the Most Vulnerable Conflict-affected Particularly Women and Youth Project", which is being implemented by TYF, in partnership with Oxfam, and with funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development BMZ.
After completing a training program in establishing and managing SMEs and improving livelihoods, which was organized by Tamdeen Youth Foundation according to the methodology of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the BNFs were given these financial grants.
This project aims at empowering and developing communities' capabilities, and promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and SMEs, which are key drivers for both economic growth and sustainable development.
Eyad Sultan, Project Coordinator, explained how these financial grants will enable beneficiaries to establish their own businesses, improve their livelihoods with their families, and enhance their resilience to economic challenges.
"TYF will continue to provide support to the BNFs by providing the necessary consultations and guidance for the success of their businesses." He emphasized.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for these financial grants, which will enable them to fulfill their dreams of establishing their own businesses.
