Tamdeen Youth Foundation Participates in the Joint GA-ECOSOC Thematic Event on Landlocked Developing Countries
Along with permanent representatives, Council members, relevant agencies and a number of other international organizations, Tamdeen Youth Foundation, represented by Dr. Ibrahim Al Musalami, Director of Taiz Region, participated in the joint thematic event on landlocked developing countries, held by the UN's Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in New York on Thursday.
The event addressed developing countries' challenges in achieving sustainable development and ways to address them.
Dr. Al Musalami stressed the importance of this event, which provides an opportunity to share experiences among various stakeholders concerned with sustainable development.
"Tamdeen Youth Foundation has got Consultative Status from the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), which allows it to participate in the activities and conferences organized by the Council."
