Taining on Active Learning in 9 Schools in Maqbanah, Taiz

Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) is implementing a training course on "Active Learning" in 9 schools in Maqbanah District, Taiz Governorate.

 

 

Developing Teaching Skills:

 

The course, organized by TYF, with the support of Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), and in cooperation with the Office of Education, lasts for four days. It aims to provide 30 male and female participants from teachers and members of Parents' Councils in the targeted schools with the active learning skills, focusing on the learner, developing students' capacities for creative thinking and brainstorming, and activating the role of Parents' Councils in supporting the educational process and promoting communication between school and society.

 

 

Commitment to Improving the Quality of Education:

 

Ahmed Al Rashedi, Manager of Education in Maqbanah district, stressed during the launch of the course the importance of participants' role in improving the quality of education in the targeted schools. Al Rashedi urged everyone to find the right means to deliver information to the students and apply the course's outputs in schools.

 

Translating Knowledge into Reality:

 

Mr. Majid Al Shera'ey, Project Manager, urged the trainees to translate their knowledge and skills into reality by applying its output.

 

Al Shera'ey stressed the importance of providing education to students within the criteria that ensure quality education, developing creative thinking skills and successful classroom management.

 

 

Continous Support for Education:

 

This course is part of the activities of "Multi-Sectoral Response Project of Food Security, Health, Nutrition and Education), implemented by Tamdeen Youth Foundation in a Maqbanah district, supported by Yemen Humanitarian Fund, Yemen (YHF), which aims to improve the quality of services provided to the community.
