Distribution of hygiene bags for 636 families in Al-Wazay’eah and Al-Selw.

In times of crisis and conflict areas, the population is more vulnerable to disease and death, due to the outbreak of epidemics that often arise because of difficult access to water and sanitation services, without good hygiene practices and addressing critical water needs, the risk of diarrhea, cholera and communicable diseases remains very high. Therefore, Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) works to help displaced  persons and host communities to have access to clean drinking water and raise their awareness of health practices. In this context, Tamdeen Youth Foundation, supported by the Humanitarian Fund in Yemen (YHF) and in partnership with Care International, distributed hygiene bags for 336 families in Al-Duraifah hamlet in Al-Wazay’eah districts in Taiz city. In addition, the Foundation distributed, within ECCHOIII project, in partnership with Care, hygiene bags for 300 families in Al-Qabelah and Al-Sharaf hamlets  Al-Selw district in Taiz city.
