Tamdeen Youth Foundation(TYF) delivers urgent assistance to 202 displaced families
Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) managed today (Thursday) to reach 202 displaced families from their homes because of the fighting in central and southern Yemen and provided them with assistance that meets their basic needs and preserves their dignity (51 families in Hobaish district, 71 families in Al-Dhehar district and, 67 families in Al-Mashanah district, 13 families in Jiblah district in Ibb city). This emergency support comes within the displaced rapid_ response_ project_ RRM implemented by the foundation and with support led by #United_ Nations_Population_Fund UNFPA. During the past weeks, the foundation was able to assist 1,836 displaced families in 10 districts in Ibb city, based on the support of the UN Fund and its teams, which have extensive experience in implementing humanitarian tasks, and its fast and flexible mechanism in managing its operations in emergency situations.
It is worth mentioning that the humanitarian response operation which was implemented today (Thursday), was witnessed by the RRM official at the United Nations Population Fund in Yemen Andrea Berardi, and the rapid response coordinator of the fund, Nader Al-Mansour in Taiz, Ibb and Al-Dhalea areas. The two have visited the office of Tamdeen Youth Foundation Ibb city and met with the Director of the Central Region of the Foundation Dr. Thei Yazan Al-Hakimi and the staff in the office.
