Emergency response project teams could reach 153 newly displaced families and provide them with their basic needs

The continuation of  fighting in central Yemen exacerbates the human tragedy and forces more people to leave their homes, so field teams in the RRM emergency response project implemented by #Tamdeen_Youth_Foundation TYF in partnership with the #United_Nations_Population_Fund UNFPA have intensified thier efforts in tracing and monitoring the wave of displacement and register newly displaced families and meet their basic needs.

Today, Thursday, project teams managed to reach 153 displaced families who were forced to leave their homes and were rescued from death to behind the lines of confrontation in Ibb city. The response teams have followed them to the defiles, valleys, schools, and to the countryside with its rugged terrain in (Al Dhihar, Hubaysh, Al Makhadir, As Sabrah, Dhi As Sufal, As Sayyany and Mudhaykhirah) districts, and provided them with a package of assistance including (food bags provided by # World_Food_Program WFP and basic cleaning tools provided by #UNICEF, and requirements for displaced women provided by the #United_ Nations_Population_Fund UNFPA).
